Howto create a distro like DSL?

Does anybody have a howto, or any doc, about this?
Dsl is gooood, but may be better, if I would install some more software.
This is not very easy under Dsl, so, I wanna ('d like to) create my own.
Yes, I already have heard about Lfs and Blfs!
Bye!

You could start out with Knoppix (on which DSL is based, I believe) and read the remastering guide.
