how to watch tivo

if this post violates any forum rules please remove promptly and i offer my sincere apologies.

I recently discovered that by entering "https://192.168.1.100/nowplaying/index.html" in a web browser I can access my tivo and down-load shows to my pc. however due to the encryption in the .tivo files they are unviewable. The few tools that windows users use just don't work on my system under wine. i have tried search after search trying to see what linux users do or if there is any native linux software that can strip the drm out, without success. is there anyone who knows if this is possible on a linux only system.
the only work around for me so-far is to transfer to a winblows system to decrypt.

my thanks in advance
