I downloaded and installed faad to convert my iTunes m4p files to mp3...everything installed fine...but I cant find any instructions on how to convert the m4p/acc files from iTunes....ie, syntax. There arent any instructions in the install directory...???
I've checked Google several times.
If anyone could assist I'd appreciate it...thanks!
DESCRIPTION
This utility provides a command line interface to libfaad2. This pro-
gram reads in MPEG-4 AAC files, processes, and outputs them in either
Microsoft WAV, MPEG-4 AAC ADTS, or standard PCM formats.
OPTIONS
-a <filename>, --adtsout <filename>
Sets the processing to output to the specified file in MPEG-4
AAC ADTS format
and so on and so on...
I wouldn't have given advice I hadn't tested myself
Cheers,
jdk
I don't see mp3 listed as an output format ... but I guess you could convert to a wav first, then use lame to encode to mp3.
Sorry TeXMeX,
I thought you were referring to the man faad command and not faad's ability to convert to mp3 format. I assumed that the OP had checked that out. My apologies.
