faad not available error!

Before I had a major crash on my system which forced me to wipe my H.D. other than my backup H.D. I used to be able to play this one 3ivx movie file, but as the output shows (please see below), and something I've been trying to figure out this past week is why I will get the video but not the audio. I've searched for other information about the faad problem such as other forums and the xanim and 3ivx sites, but I can't seem to figure out which codec I need to install, for that matter I can't even get xanim to install right, I've recompiled mplayer and adding the extended codecs packages that the site has to offer but I still can't get the audio, If anyone knows what I have to do to get the audio working again I would appreciate the advice. Thanks for your time,

Joshua M Hull
