How to stop gaim stealing focus?

Guys/girls,
Env is RH FC3, gaim 1.1.4-0.FC3 Gnome 2.8.0
Anybody know how to stop gaim stealing focus for an incoming msg; It's driving me nuts, as some people at work broadcast a msg/req, so I often get stuff that doesn't relate to me whilst I'm trying to code.!!
I really need this ability...

Chris:

Here's one workaround that comes to mind:

Tell GAIM to place new conversations in the most recent window. Open an IM window (you could double-click on someone on your buddy list) and minimize it. Now, when someone IMs you, it will go into this minimized window. So long as you do not have the "Raise Window on Event" options turned on in the GAIM config, this should work out for you.

Hope that helps.

Hey,
thx for that, I'll give it a try. If it works, I owe you one ( although I'm in Australia, so it'll have to be a virtual beer ;-) )

Put it on my tab. Maybe I'll come down there and pick it up one day.
