How do I stop GAIM from loading?

I have GAIM installed on Debian Sarge and my system boots to the command line. When I startx into KDE, GAIM loads automatically. Where is the script I can edit or file to change to stop this from happening?

I've gone into Konqueror, to GO, and to Autostart and there is nothing listed in there. This is the ~/.kde/Autostart directory that this edits. Apparently whatever you put in this directory will automatically execute when KDE starts.

What other directories or scripts are there that cause programs to autostart when you startx and go into KDE, or any other desktop? I use KDE the most so that's what I'm most interested in. I don't just want to stop GAIM from loading but I'd like to know this for any future programs that load automatically. Or if I want to make something load at startup how I could do this myself.
