how to read iso image files

cant read the image file using linux. On windows machine I can use iso buster and read them just fine. I am trying to load rh7.3 from disk. disk 1 is not bootable. Is there something I forgot to load on the first disk. My machine boots to cd-rom first, so that is not the problem. Anybody else having problems with rh downloaded burned disk

Code:
mount /path/to/your/iso/file/somefile.iso -t iso9660 -o loop /mnt/whatever
Make sure you have loopback block device support compiled in for your kernel, or the loop.o module handy.
