Angry from iso image to files ?


hi everybody,

I have an iso image, I want to get the files from the image whitout burning a CD, is there a package doing this
thanks for help

Try mounting it Just like a cd-rom, except for the fact you don't use a device node.

mount -i iso9660 -o loop /path/to/file.iso /mnt/some-folder/

...and consider what you could do with any partition dump created with dd
