hello, could some body provide me some info how to make my own customer installer for linux(like redhat), i mean my own, that is that i chose every single package if i need, i really like a clean linux system.. i don't want any package install if i don't even use it.
(i already check out redhat kickstart, but that's not what i want)
thanks
I just installed gentoo, it seems to come pretty stripped down. I noticed I did not have services running when I scanned myself. Every other distro had services running with a default install.

well linux from scratch is easy.. but it won't show you how to make an install program for it. you will also need to do blfs (beyond linux from scratch) if you want anything graphical like x server or kde/gnome.
good luck tho, i learned alot when i went through it. At least configuration wise i did.
