There IS a driver that works, I know because I downloaded it and it works!

The bad news is that I can't remember where I downloaded it from, but I think it *may* have been the downloadfinder.intel.com or driverguide.com. The file I downloaded is intel-536ep-4.69.tgz - worked straight off the blocks. Hopefully a google search of the filename might help - it is specifically for kernel versions higher than 2.4.

If thats the driver you've downloaded, it might be a kernel problem. I installed on 2.6.9 and 2.6.10, so if you're using an earlier kernel, try upgrading, there may have been a bug that's been fixed.

There is one driver at Intel's that is made for mandrake 10.1. I don't know why, but the first time a went directly at intel.com and I didn't see any, but after a google search, you can find out there is one exactly for mdk 10.1 (not 10.0) at intel...Good luck everyone!!
