how to download and install crossover on my linux cent_os 5.6 32bit machine...
please help me to install crossover and give me a download link.
Thank you
First check the Compatibility Database to see if the windows program you want to install runs flawlessly. Then you can download the 14 days free trial from the official site to test it. What's the problem anyway?
do you really NEED crossover as in have you already bought it
wine works for most things
BUT the NOW DEAD Centos 5.6 repos were VERY conservative
the centos 5.6 repos moved to the historical archive last year
cent is ONLY supporting 5.9 and 6.4
so for 5.6 using yum is out of the question -- it is dead also ( no repos to install from )
install from source
but again for 5.6 installing the prerequisites might be rather difficult
the normal way is using yum ( non functional in 5.6 )
there is a rpmforge wine rpm for el5
wine-1.5.26-1.el5.rft.i386.rpm
that might install on 5.6
but the using the current CentOS 5.9 would be better
is there available any cracked of this application...
thank you to provide all information...
