How to download and install Octava for linux 2.6.32-5-686?


I've got linux 2.6.32-5-686(debian).I've been told that there is Octava inside but I suppose there is not. Where to find, how to download and install? Please, write at great length because I'm the beginner in linux! Thanks!

Do you mean "octave" http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/ ?

Linux is a nice OS. this is a user-friendly software. I suggest that f ever you want to install a new OS, Linux is the best.
