unable to download kernel image 2.6.8-2-686


Hi All,

I am trying to run apt-get install kernel-image-2.6.8-2.686 and it prompt me couldn't find package kernel-image-2.6.8-2-686

Can someone point me to the sites where I can download the image.

I have attached my sources.list as below

My current kernel is 2.4.27-2-386

Any help is greatly appreciated.

That kernel is so old it must be gone. Is there any reason you need that one? To see what is available
as root
apt-cache search kernel-image
