how do you install a package group with up2date on RHEL AS 4

using up2date from the command line, there is an option to show groups

up2date --show-groups

i assume this shows groupings of packages from the comps file

i know when using kickstart, to install package groups you specify in ks.cfg

@ <PACKAGE GROUP>

example

@ GNOME
@ KDE etc. etc.

can up2date be used to install package groups also?

I have tried-->

up2date --install @ GNOME
up2date @ GNOME
up2date @ GNOME Desktop Environment

etc. etc. but states the following package you requested is not found

thnks in advance

How about just using system-config-packages or apt/synaptic.

This is a minimal RHEL AS 4 install...want to add groups of packages

I did a minimal install, and would like to just add the GNOME package group.

I know yum has a group install option, and was hoping up2date had the same option

Yeah this was a tough one...in th ks.cfg file there is a space between the @ and the package group name.

up2date will disregard it if there is a space between, so it has to be @packagegroupname with no space....
