How do you get a password in to CUPS?

Ok here I am running SuSE 9.0 Pro and everything seems to work except for CUPS. I mean man I got network connection to Vendoze with a few clicks and BAM I am in.

But I cannot print important email cause XIMAIN wants to use CUPS. So I have a nice back log of failed print ques stack in cups that I can not remove cause it wants a root password, and Brothers i do know that password very well thank you....

So if someone would be so kind as to tell me how to remove this offending piece of modern "EASY" printing software and tell me how I might be able to reinstall it again so that just maybe I can set a password on it. Or Better yet tell how to configure this montrasaty of "easy" printing software i would be in your debt....

I can print test pages using the defualt lpr? but you know test pages are for fire wood startin foder....

Any help with this would greatly be apreciated....

This is a known bug in SUSE. It wants the encrypted password. Here:
