Help: Setting up a network printer(brother 2270dw) on Debian?

i'm trying to setup a new Brother network printer (Brother HL-2270DW) on my debian7 machine. I downloaded the linux Driver Install Tool from manufacture's website and ran through it.

it seems that printer was installed and I can see it listed in: http://localhost:631/printers/

but i couldn't print the test page and printer status showing 'Processing - "Waiting for printer to become available."

not sure what to do at this point, any advice?

ha, just found the problem.

the printer was setup as LPT instead of network printer. once the printer was modified and setup as network printer in cups, it's working correctly
