Unhappy Help! installation problems

I have an old computer I'm trying to install RH 7.1 Server Station on, but it wont work. I've deleted every partitions in fdisk and then boot the CD with RH installation CD in it. When it's ready I choose Graphic installation, get the message 'Starting anaconda'. Then message 'Not enough RAM for Graphic installation...', I have 32Mb. Well, text installation starts and I choose language, keyboard and then, after choosing Server Station the computer freezes with the blue screen.

What is wrong? Do I need to make a Linux partition before I install?

You don't need to make a partition to before you start. Are you sure that there is not a problem with the memory. It sounds like there is. Try to specify the amount of mem you have available, you should be able to type this in just before theinstall starts:

Code:
linux mem=32M

I did it!

Well, the memory thing didn't work, but I tried to inactivate dma, and that worked!
No, I'm having trouble with how to make it a functional webserver with php and mysql, and also a firewall.
I have no idea how to make this, so if you have any hints for me to make it easier, I'd be more than glad.

Thx mate.

That is little out of my depth, after all I'm only the General Forum Mod!

My advice would be to check out www.linuxdoc.org and see if they hold any How-To's on what you need.
