HELP: I broke the workspace switcher somehow...

I can't configure it to show all workspaces. I don't know how to switch workspaces without it! I'm using Gnome/metacity. When I click on configure, it pops up a window which says there was an error saving or loading the wnck-applet. I had been using a gdesklet to do the workspace switching. Right now gdesklets is broken as well, but that's a separate issue. Still, it's my best guess to how this other thing got broken.

Anybody know how to restore the wnck_applet?
