lost workspace switcher icon
Running RH9, Gnome. Must've been screwing around with customizing the taskbar & managed to remove the workspace switcher, which I can't seem to get back. Any ideas? Thanks!

Right click on an empty spot in the taskbar. The menu that comes up should offer you a setup option of some kind where you can set the number of screens you want.

Hmm.. I tried right-clicking and going to the various ADD submenus as well as the CONFIGURE PANEL menu. Nothing in there showed 'workspace switcher' or similar.

Hello, I found how to restore the workspace switcher. My FC2 version is in Spanish, however, the procedure shall work in other languages as well. Right-click the thick bar ("Panel") on the bottom of the page. Select the first option (Add to Panel) and place the mouse over the bar so the second-level menu appears. There, select Utilities and follow the same procedure. A new pull down will open, and one of the options will be Workspace Switcher. Click there, and that shall work.

It seems that I dont have the UTILITIES submenu - that must be my problem. When I rt click on the task bar I go to the ADD menu, then I see only the following 4 submenus:
Applet, Application Button, Special Button & Extension.
I've traversed every one of these and their submenus and there is no option anywhere in there for "Workspace Switcher."
I guess that's part of my problem! Any other ideas?
Thanks for trying!
