Has anyone installed SNES on Yellow Dog 5?

I'm having trouble getting it to run. I would like to know if anyone has got this up and running on their PS3 console.

If so, what are the proper procedures on getting the program to work? Thanks in advance and I appreciate the help!

I don't think anyone else has one of those yet. I certainly don't but I'm running linux on ppc and yellow dog is a ppc distro for the cell's ppc control cpu. Unless SNES is some package made specifically for yellow dog on the PS3; I don't know what you are referring to. where did you get it? can you post an exact error? In my experience with linux on ppc(macs) to emulate the Super Nintendo snes9x is the way to go. you may have to compile it does yellow dog for the PS3 include the standard development tools? I would imagine that this is going to be one of the most common things people will want to do with those things. afterall it is a gameconsole. you may have to wait until there are more PS3s out there for people to start making packages for it. or take matters into your own hands and compile it yourself
