GTK-Gnutella running = no internet browsing?

Its a strange problem here. Happens in Windows aswell...

If I run GTK-Gnutella and start to download anything, I can't browse the internet at all. Or run any games that require internet access. Once I close it, all works dandy.

It must be a router problem or somthing, but I just don't know what to do to fix it... Any ideas?

I get that problem sometimes too...but only when running gtk-gnutella! It's really puzzeling...I'd like to know why it does this as well.

Yup its odd. To top it off, I dont have this problem on the downstairs pc on the wireless card.

gtk-gnutella can hog the bandwidth at times here, especially when it's looking for ultrapeers or downloading... Maybe try limiting the gnutella-net bandwidth and stuff...

I've never had it totally kill the browsing as such, but it will slow it to zero... Well actually certain pages time out more easily than others and they are impossible with gtkg running...
