please help with gtk-gnutella


I am using suse 9.2pro and I have gtk-gnutella-0.95 running.
when I do a search for anything, I receive a lot of files. when I click the download interface to see the progress of the files, it shows 0% for every files.
my computer is behind the firewall that came with suse.
I am using cable modem.
can anyone please help

If you are behind a firewall, gnutella won't work very well unless you have a thing called "port forwarding" enabled. Look for documentation on your firewall that tells how to use port forwarding; look in gtk-gnutella under the "network" configuration for "listen port" - mine's 8346, but I think 6346 is the default. Whatever port that is, tell your firewall to forward that port.
