Googleearth

I am using Ubuntu 13.04 and recently attempted to use Google Earth which I installed via the command line. It installed fine, but I can't search by postcode anymore. I just get 'invalid http request'. Is this a fault with the installation, or did I install it wrong. Has anyone else had this problem?

I (along with numerous others) had this problem which I resolved by following the procedure I got on the Ubuntu forums. It is posted at the link below:

Others have indicated if they had version 6?? of googleearth and installed version 7.1, it worked better but still some problems.
