Hi,

I am new to Linux and would like to install GnuPG on my system.

I downloaded the lastest GnuPG from its website. Package downloaded: gnupg-1.2.3-1rh9-i386.rpm.

This is the error message I got:

I checked my file and found 2 GnuPG folders. They are /usr/lib/gnupg and /usr/share/gnup. I tried running them but it says no such file or directory. What does this error message? Would appreciate any input.

It seems to me that your installation of GnuPG 1.2.3-1 is conflicting with your new GnuPG 1.2.3-3. I would recommend removing (man rpm) the old version of the software before trying to install the new one.

Thanks for the help. Since I already have GnuPG 1.2.3-3 is already installed, how do I use it?
