Gnome Customization Question
Ok...so I just had an epiphany...what I want is a shell as my background on my desktop. I want all my virtual desktops to have the same shell open (so the X window's root window needs to be a shell).
So...what I think I am looking for is a shell program (such as xterm) that will let me display onto the root window. Anybody know anything like this, or any way to make this work? Otherwise, I just have a dumb picture wasting a bunch of room.
