Question Getting JRUN4 to run under Fedora core 6?

Ok I posted another thread over in the hardware section, it can be found here, as my problem is 2 pronged and could be solved by either a hardware fix or a software fix I though it would be better to post 2 seperate threads dealing with the individual problems.

My problem is that I need to get a JRUN4 server running in Fedora core 6. It isn't officially supported by Adobe but i'm hoping that there might be a work around.

When I try to install JRUN4 I get this error:

Code:
[root@alphabox1 ~]# ./jrun-40-linux-en.bin
Preparing to install...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...
dirname: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/bin/ls: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
basename: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
dirname: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
basename: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Launching installer...

rm: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
rm: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I've googled the problem and the only possible solution I can see is in the links below:

Guide for Fedora core 2 using a hex editor

After I followed these links I got JRUN4 to install but I can't seem to start or stop the JRUN server. When I try to log in using my username and pass it says invalid password.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
