Ok I posted another thread over in the hardware section, it can be found here, as my problem is 2 pronged and could be solved by either a hardware fix or a software fix I though it would be better to post 2 seperate threads dealing with the individual problems.
My problem is that I need to get a JRUN4 server running in Fedora core 6. It isn't officially supported by Adobe but i'm hoping that there might be a work around.
When I try to install JRUN4 I get this error:

Guide for Fedora core 2 using a hex editor
After I followed these links I got JRUN4 to install but I can't seem to start or stop the JRUN server. When I try to log in using my username and pass it says invalid password.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
