Getting a High-ID on aMule with a router on TP-LINK TL-WN822N

So, listen. I want to get a High-ID on aMule.

How do I enable a High-ID on aMule with TP-LINK TL-WN822N?

I have tried other ways, but they did not work.

I do not use amule...

Without additional information you need to forward the desired ports in your router to your computer. This will require using a static IP address or address reservation configured in your router.

It has been a while since I used aMule, but the answer is in the link provided by michaelk - you will need to allow forwarding of the specified ports in your router. This is usually referred to as a DMZ in the router setup. You will need to see the setup for your specific router to know how to do that, but usually not difficult.

Just a comment, trying to impose a time limit on responders by threatening to lock the post as unsolved will get you nothing but a few giggles... you must be in marketing somewhere? "Hurry! Be the first in your neighborhood to reply! Time is limited! Less than 24 hours remaining!" /* It just struck me a humorous */

Sir, I am really frustrated because apparently they don't provide instructions for my router, which is a TP-LINK TL-WN822N, which is specifically the reason why I asked here.

TP-LINK TL-WN822N is a wireless USB adapter not a router. The computer connects to a MODEM/router box somewhere. That is the box where you allow the ports through. If your not on a home network then you probably have no control over these settings.

I appreciate your frustrations and hope I did not offend, it just made me think of a line from a Mel Brooks movie.

As michaelk has posted, the device you have is not your router, it is a USB wireless adapter.

Can you tell us what your wireless is connecting to - home router, public access, etc.?

If you are using this on your home system then you need to look at your actual router. If it is over a public wireless access point then you probably have no control over the port forwarding at all.

Good luck!
