Getting a compile error running emerge --emptytree system

First I had a "Security Violation: A file exists that is not in the manifest." so I tried the comment again (as per suggestion here on LQ)

Now I'm getting a freakin compile error. I can feel this as becoming a larger problem.... What now?

Code:
./include -I. -I../include  -D_GNU_SOURCE -DNDEBUG -march=pentium4 -pipe -O2 -mcpu=i686 -fomit-frame-pointer -fPIC -c /var/tmp/portage/ncurses-5.4-r6/work/ncurses-5.4/c++/cursesf.cc
/bin/sh: line 1: -I../c++: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [../obj_s/cursesf.o] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/ncurses-5.4-r6/work/narrowc/c++'
make: *** [all] Error 2

!!! ERROR: sys-libs/ncurses-5.4-r6 failed.
!!! Function do_compile, Line 86, Exitcode 2
!!! make failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

bash-2.05b#

Do you have c++ installed? The command
whereis c++
should tell you where it's installed.

You do know that it compiled a lot of other stuff before it hit that error right? I just didn't paste it all because 500+ lines in a LQ post would be junk many would rather not see :P

Anyways, yep, its in /usr/bin/c++

Should I submit a bug report to gentoo yet?
