GAIM fails with yahoo messenger


Gaim which is distributed under redhat linux 9 fails when it tries to connect with.
the message is <username> has logged out cannot read
plz help

u must update u r gaim

read the faq and doc
http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

u can also use
yahoo messenger from yahoo
they call it ymessenger
Yahoo! Messenger for Unix
messenger.yahoo.com
the unix section

to use msn messenger the best i have saw
http://amsn.sourceforge.net/
