Gaim is the best IM program out there. With its open source backing, Gaim continues to develop and become more stable with each update. The one thing that I wasn't sure Gaim could do is a webcam functionality. I know that the native MSN and Yahoo! messengers have an ability to chat with webcam. Since both these programs are a part of Gaim, does Gaim have something in the works to have this option available? Or does one already exist and I don't know about it?
Is there a webcam functionality for Windows version of Gaim or does Windows just suck? I haven't tried to do webcam functions for Linux since compling is hard for me. (^_^)
Originally posted by windowsrefugeeX ok ok, i installed gaim-vv however it can only recieve that sucks!
Well we live and learn. That's actually good to know because I don't have a webcam so I've never used it but that is what I've been recommending to anybody who wants video chat with Gaim. Maybe I'll be a little careful about how I word things when I post that URL in future
