Question FTP Client Software, any recommendation?

Though gFTP is good most of the time, it sometimes doesn't respond when a ftp site needs retry. Then I have to kill gFTP. So, I am wondering if there is any better client software. Would you please recommend several? Thank you very much!

Lftp

Hi,
You can use lftp. It's a very powerfull command line ftp client. With it you can download multiple files at once and download multiple parts of a file at once.

I'd recommend lftp as well. Simple to learn if you're familiar with FTP commands, and very powerful if you are prepared to learn it's own commands.

Other graphical clients you can try are Filezilla and Kasablanca.
