Four boot logos in Arch

I recently bought a computer (Quad Core, abit IP35 mobo) and installed Arch Linux. When I boot up, I get four Arch boot logos instead of just one. I had recently tried Arch on my older computer (Athlon 64, asus A8V mobo) and it did not have this problem. This is not really a big problem as it does not affect on the computer's performance, I'd just like to know why it does it.

The default Linux boot framebuffer penguin (which might have been replaced by the Arch logo here) shows up one time per CPU/core present in the system. Enjoy knowing that your 4 cores are running nicely!
