fluxbox: apps in toolbar

for all you fluxbox gurus: is there a way to launch programs and have them not show up in the toolbar? things like gkrellm, fbpager, etc. ? i really don't need them there, they're just taking up space. i looked through the ~/.fluxbox/init options for the toolbar, but i didn't really see anything to prevent individual apps from showing up, only things like the workspacename, clock, etc. is there maybe an option you can set for individual programs in the ~/.fluxbox/apps file to prevent them from showing up on the toolbar?

I suppose you are refering the "slit" when you talked about "toolbar". Programs like gkrellm, fbpager hide in the slit so that you can see them on every desktop. And fluxbox doesn't actually control how they start up. It just keep them in the slit if you start those programs in "withdrawn mode"(normall with an -w option) So to stop them from starting up, you should look into files like .xinitrc or .xsessions instead.

Hope this helps.
