Hi !

I installed the version 0.9.9 of fluxbox (i was tired of the 0.1.14 on the official debian packages)
Quite everything is ok, except the toolbar that is unreadable, look at this snapshot

I don't really understand why i have this rendering. If someone knows, it'd be great !

Edit> i wantede to notice that i have this bad effect on every theme

Thanks !

Have you tried to change the style? Maybe it's its fault....

Sorry, i didn't read the Edit line....If that's the case, i don't know what can be the problem. You can try to edit init file (under .fluxbox) and try to edit the color and font of the toolbar manually.

! need community help to end the fix, please !

I think i found the problem!

It's just that the style syntax has changed and all the default styles aren't compatible. The main problem is that now the iconbar has a personnal class for graphic configuration. And there is another problem, the "man fluxstyle" doesn't give _every_ style possibilities, so be careful

I'd like to create a constructive post from this remark and i'd port the more styles i can from 0.1.14 to 0.9.9. For that i would need some volonteers that have the 0.9.9 version of fluxbox. Just port you're style... if everybody does this, we'll have a good database in few days

I really hope this thread will continue

Cthulhain v1.1

Here is for the Cthulhain style, i only changed the toolbar part:
Code:
! ***** toolbar *****
toolbar: raised gradient vertical
     toolbar.color: #585858
     toolbar.colorTo: #0f1319

toolbar.label: parentrelative
     toolbar.label.textColor: #cccccc

toolbar.clock: parentrelative
     toolbar.clock.textColor: #cccccc

toolbar.button: parentrelative
     toolbar.button.picColor: #cccccc
     toolbar.button.borderWidth: 0

toolbar.button.pressed: sunken gradient vertical
     toolbar.button.pressed.color: #585858
     toolbar.button.pressed.colorTo: #0f1319

toolbar.workspace: parentrelative
     toolbar.workspace.textColor: #cccccc

toolbar.iconbar.borderWidth: 0

toolbar.iconbar.empty: raised gradient vertical
     toolbar.iconbar.empty.color: #585858
     toolbar.iconbar.empty.colorTo: #0f1319
     toolbar.iconbar.empty.borderWidth: 0

toolbar.iconbar.focused: raised gradient vertical
     toolbar.iconbar.focused.color: #585858
     toolbar.iconbar.focused.colorTo: #0f1319
     toolbar.iconbar.focused.textColor: #aaaaee
     toolbar.iconbar.focused.justify: center
     toolbar.iconbar.focused.borderWidth: 0

toolbar.iconbar.unfocused: raised gradient vertical
     toolbar.iconbar.unfocused.color: #585858
     toolbar.iconbar.unfocused.colorTo: #0f1319
     toolbar.iconbar.unfocused.textColor: #999999
     toolbar.iconbar.unfocused.justify: center
     toolbar.iconbar.unfocused.borderWidth: 0
It's not perfect, but it's really better than the default one
