My question is, how do i get my fluxbox to look all pretty like they have on the screenshots. i know it has something to do with integrating gtk or gnome or kde into it or w/e. really have no idea how to get started. also i have eterm installed but it doesnt show up under the "terminals" thing in the toolbar when u right click, how do i add it there? any tips on making fluxbox look better would be appreciated.
This will scan your system for well-known installed apps and add them to the menu. As for making it 'all pretty' I'm not too sure what you mean. If your distro has it, install a package called 'commonbox-styles'. Now you will have 25-30 different styles to pick and choose the one you like the best. You can change styles using the 'fluxbox' entry in the menu.
its not just a theme tho... like take a look at thislike how do i get the transparent terminal, how do i get all those sections "internet apps, utilities, games, etc." when u click. and also look at this one how do i get that gtk look in fluxbox?
The transparant eterm is configured by command line args to eterm itself. Nothing to do with fluxbox. I suggest starting with 'man Eterm' and trying different combinations til you find something you like. Now edit your 'Eterm' entry in the menu file to make it permanent. There is no fancy GUI in fluxbox for setting all these things.
As for "how do i get all those sections "internet apps, utilities, games, etc" I have already told you. Run "fluxbox-generate_menu" and these entries will be created for you.
As for the GTK look, these are all just different window-decorations provided by different themes. I am not sure of the theme in your particular screenie, you just have to install them and use the one you like.

you can add anything to the menu's by editing your ~/.fluxbox menu file....
as for transparency, you can edit your ~/.fluxbox/init file and adjust this line:
session.screen0.menu.alpha: 255
by changing the number up or down, you can adjust the tranparency of the menus...
you might need to restart x before it takes effect tho...

I use a application called "gtk-chtheme" for changing themes i flux. Wallpapers can be changed with the command "fbsetbg /path/to/wallpaper.jpg"
Transparent menus: fluxbox menu - configure - transparency
Themes: fluxbox menu - configure - System styles
For a transparent terminal I use "gnome-terminal" which is very easy to configure with GUI. aterm is another terminal that can be configured but can be a bit harder....
and also i have seen screenshots of people using gtk or gnome or w/e with fluxbox. does anyone know how to do that? like get a desktop environment in with fluxbox
icons and things can be added using something like rox-filer...if you just want the kde taskbar, type kicker into a run command, and it will appear for you. to get rid of it, open a terminal and type killall kicker and it will go away.
also how do i get things to start up with fluxbox likle say superkaramba. and how do i edit aterm so that all my options for transparency will start every time i start it.

Just edit your eterm entry in you fluxbox menu like:
[exec] (eterm) {eterm -tr -fg white -bg black +sb}
Note: I don't know what the options on eterm are as I don't use it, but something like that will work.
