Firefox plug-in invisibile,can't uninstall

Interesting thing, I have visited certain web site and let it scan my PC to check for BIOS and drivers updates. In order to do that I needed to install plug-in for Firefox. So I did.

Scan finished, I've tried to uninstall the plug-in, but it wasn't there. I went back on the site and let it scan my PC again and it did. Before this I've set Firefox to not install plug-ins from this site, so this means that plug-in is still in Firefox because the scan can't be done without the plug-in, but the plug-in is not on the list of installed plug-ins in my Firefox.

How to uninstall the plug-in?

I can't remember the name of the site at the moment but I will post it here soon.

Look under /etc/firefox/plugins and under your .mozilla folder in your home directory. Just delete the plugin.

I forgot to say, but this was on Window$ (my brother is using it, he's too young).

I wanted to post a question here, because Firefox is open source software & multiplatform browser and maybe someone had some expirience with this on Linux and this is the first time that something like that has hapened to me (you install the software and there is no sign of it, but it's there).

Scan only works on Window$, here's the link if someone wants to check it out; http://scan.esupport.com/?r=302&CFID...TOKEN=56405969
