Firefox Keeps Minimizing Without My Input

I installed Ubuntu 18.04 LTS on a home computer a few days ago and have an ongoing issue when using Firefox. What happens is sometimes a little white box appears, then Firefox minimizes its self.

The last time it happened I checked the sys log and UFW log and there is nothing in either of them at the time the browser minimized its self.

I am running the latest software updates for Ubuntu and Firefox.

I am seeing some entries in my syslog for Firefox, but the time-frame does not correspond with the last minimized event so these could be unrelated. Here are some examples:

Quote:

Are you doing anything at all when it minimises?

If not, does the Firefox window have focus when the issue occurs?

Are you experiencing this with any other applications?

Possibly moving the mouse cursor over the webpage. I can't remember. I wasn't clicking anything though.

How often does the issue occur? Can you monitor it for the next few days and see if you can find any commonality between the occurrences of this issue, relating mostly to what you are doing on the keyboard and with the mouse when it happens.

Are you using a mouse or a trackpad? If the former, do you have a different mouse that you could try?

Try starting Firefox from the command line. Perhaps it will throw some useful messages to the terminal.
