Server is a HP Proliant ML150 running Mandriva Linux 2007, and is connected to a PS/2 keyboard and Mouse via a Belkin KVM. What I can find through searching is this often effects Fedora Core and Ubuntu machines when a touchpad is turned on and off, but nothing about repeated messages.
