Firefox/Iceweasel/Konqueror not playing videoclips

Debian Etch
Xine
Kaffeine
Firefox/Iceweasel/Konqueror
plugins:Shockwave, VLC, Kaffeine-Starter, Quicktime, Realplayer 9, Windows media player, mplayer-plugin, mozplugger

It is impossible watching videos, for instance

http://www.zdf.de/ZDFde/inhalt/13/0,...590701,00.html
or
http://www.br-online.de/cgi-bin/ravi...=1&f=070131.rm

Occurring errors:
Iceweasel shuts down/Konqueror does nothing
Kaffeine starts and does nothing after reporting ready
VLC: Please install the video-plugin
XINE-Errorroblem loading decoder: cook.so
Wrong format, you choose MP_4

Can anyone watch the clips mentioned above and which configuration in use?

Thank you.

yes, I can watch them. I have iceweasel 2.0.0.6 with mplayer plugin on a debian lenny/sid. What other configuration data do you need ?
Remember to deactivate add-ons such as adblock or noscript for zdf.de.

Did you give this one a try already?

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/446

It's a plugin for Firefox that helps you set up the multimedia features.

Thank you,

I gave it a try, but there was only in one case an improvement.
Meanwhile I played around and did as follows:

deinstallaiton with aptitude:
kaffeine-player-plugin
mplayer-plugin and several others.

Configuration now (all with aptitude):
Shockwave Flash
VLC multimedia plugin
realplayer 10 = Helix DNA Plugin: Realplayer G2 Plug-in compatible
Adobe Reader
Java plugin
MozPlugger 1.7.3 handles QuickTime Windows Media Player Plugin

Now I can play all the videoclips I found at least in an external player.
