2 quick Iceweasel/Firefox questions.

1. How can I stop iceweasel/firefox opening a second instance (or window) if I click the launcher twice?
2. How can I preload iceweasel/firefox (and only iceweasel/firefox) on startup?

Explaining why I need to do this is a long story and quite hard to explain so I just need ways to do both of the above please.

for the first problem i would write a simple shell script to achieve (start firefox based on the output of "ps aux|grep firefox" or something like that)
