Firefox

I've seen a lot of disturbing news about Firefox lately.
Things like layoffs while execs get bonuses that don't sound so good.

It sounds so bad, I'm here asking if it's time to abandon FF, cuz it looks like it's got rats leaving a sinking ship.

What say you?

Any news you read on the internet, especially at "social" media sites (and even at this forum, which tends to be one of the most reliable and level-headed places I visit), should be verified at independent third-party sources, preferably legitimate news outlets. If a headline you find disturbing bears out, look into why. There may be legitimate reasons for the actions in question.

For my part, I've found that Mozilla, even though it has made some mistakes along the way (as have all of us) has compiled a generally good track record on privacy and security. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait and see.

And sgosnell makes a good point: For what? Certainly not anything Google.
