Firefox theme killed my firefox

I was installing themes for my latest firefox... I installed one that said (MAC) ,,,
(On linux system, KDE)
when I tried to launch FireFox, it wont launch and I get an error:
Alert:
Error launching browser window:no XBL binding for browser...

I deleted the entire directory and reinstalled firefox from a new .tar.gz from their site...

I still get the same thing...

Im pretty sure the new theme is doing this because I didnt change ANYTHING else...
Also, Im pretty sure the themes are stored outside the default firefox directory because im still getting the problem after I deleted the dir.

Can someone help get my firefox back?

Thanks,
Chris

Delete the .firefox folder in your home directory.

I had a similar problem. Some themes are not compatible with the latest firefox version. Some mention it on the site some don't

Found a .phoenix in my home that looked like where the plugins were stored. (Had plugin .jar files) Deleted that & it fired right back up...

I've done that...

I've done that before and if you don't want to delete your .firefox, you can when you get that error relaunch firefox without clicking okay. This should bring up the profile manager and you can create a new profile. If you don't want to be stuck with that you could try setting the profile manager to launch on default.
