If you don't want to add non RedHat repositories (which may affect your ability to get support from RedHat) then you can just download Firefox from mozilla.com and use it. It doesn't need to be installed, you just unpack it and run it

Code:
$ tar xf firefox-3.16.7.tar.bz2
$ cd firefox
$ ./firefox
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Hi
You can find and download firefox 3.6.17 from CentOS 5.6 Updates repository using pkgs.org.
