I have installed Red Hat Linux in my computer and want to installed Mozilla Firefox, As it has a default installation of Mozilla browser, is it possible to install firefox as well in it ???? if not how can i uninstall the mozilla and install the firefox in place of it???? please help

Red Hat 9 is really old and unsupported now. As such, you should consider using a newer distro (Fedora Core is similar). You may have problems trying to install Firefox because of how old it is and the old versions of packages it contains. For info, the software requirements for Firefox (from the Mozilla site) are as follows:

Linux kernel - 2.2.14 or higher with the following libraries or packages:

* glibc 2.3.2 or higher
* XFree86-3.3.6 or higher
* gtk+2.0 or higher
* fontconfig (also known as xft)
* libstdc++5

I'm not sure which versions of these packages Red Hat 9 has in it, but you can check.
