Firefox 0.9.3 New Windows

Hi all.

I've just downloaded Firefox 0.9.3, and to my considerable frustration, I cannot find any way to get a new window when a link is clicked from an external application (Evolution, for example).

Just launching firefox when it's already running gives a new window as expected, but if you add an argument, like the web address you want to open the new window with, you get the dreaded 'Profile manager'.

I've also tried the:
firefox -remote "openURL(www.google.com,new-tab)"
syntax, but this returns "Error: No running window found"

Firefox 0.9.1 could do this. 0.9.2 couldn't, and it appears neither can 0.9.3.

Any ideas, or any links to active bugzilla items to try to get the developers to reintroduce this much needed feature?

Dave

Slyman, you are a genius.

Just out of interest, where did you find that command?
