Fedora freezes

Hi.

I have problems with Fedora KDE, it freezes.

Before I had Fedora 31 and now I have Fedora 32. At the beginning, when I install them from scratch, there is no problem, but then after a while, after the updates, for no apparent reason it freezes. First I can't interact with the apps and I can't switch desktop either and I can only move the mouse. After a few seconds the mouse doesn't move either and I have to reset the computer.
I have a dual boot with windows for games. And with windows there is no problem.

I do not know what is the problem. Sometimes it happens like once a month, sometimes for a few days in a row, and other times weeks go by without any problems. There is no relation to what you are doing or what application you are using.
How can I find out what is happening, which is causing the problem that the fedora cannot handle and freezes.
Any help is welcome.

I have an old desktop computer (FX-6300, GTX-650, 8 GB, Asus M5A97)
Sorry my english.

Try looking in the log files. As this freeze seems to happen slowly, you might find some hints as to what is going on.

This article should help: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US.../viewing-logs/

You did just fine with your English, but you may want to search for a version of the link above in your preferred language.

Are you by any chance using nouveau video drivers? If yes, replace them with proprietary nvidia drivers, nouveau is known to cause random lock-ups similar to yours.

Thanks for your answer @frankbell.
Now wait for Fedora to freeze again to analyze the logs

Thanks for your answer @lvm_.
Yes, I am using nouveau video drivers.
I knew they weren't the best drivers, but I didn't know that they caused random lock-ups. Also, since I only needed the basics in graphics, I didn't see the need to put the nVidia ones, considering that in previous versions of Fedora I never had this problem.
I'll keep it in mind.

nouveau issues have nothing to do with graphics load or complexity, it locks up even in unattended static desktop. Usually it happens pretty fast so you might see nothing in the logs but occasionally there might be time to log CPU core lockup messages.
