Fedora 12 Hangs

Hello frnds, I downloaded Fedora 12 from its official site. It's a good distro. But one problem i exprience is that it hangs any time. It may hang when i starts it, or after 15-20 min or it may not hang in 1 hr.
Can u tell me what could be the problem. I wrote its image twice on dvd and also installed twice. My config
Intel Pentium 4
ATI X200 Graphics card
Realtek ALC883 Sound Card
160 Gb HDD
Tell me the solution please.

Is this a stock computer or a custom desktop?
Have you tried disabling compiz?

Usually, unless you find a linux users group near you, you'll have to try another distro.
If it keeps happening, you should consider that you may be experiencing a progressive HW failure. RAM can cause this.
