Evolution exchange "Could not authenticate to server"

Hi,

I have used Evolution 2.8 with MS Exchange server 2003 without any problem. After an Evolution update to 2.12.0 I always get an error message "Could not authenticate to server".
The server settings are the same, but are not working. It also seems, that the server connection is available. The password is very simple, so there should be no incompatibility between the opensuse 10.3 and MS Server 2003.
We have also an HTTP access (OWA) via an HTML browser, which is working on the Exchange Machine.

Does anyone has seen such a problem?

Thanks.

solution

I found a solution.
We have an Domain which should be added to the "username" configuration.
If you set up a new user, please use the following syntax for the username: "DOMAIN\USERNAME"
the OWA-URL should be: "http://SERVERNAME.DOMAIN/exchange"
After this setting it is working.

I have found another issue. There is a problem with the libsoup package released with openSUSE 10.3 and NTLM authentication. See https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=304802 which includes a link to patched libsoup.
