Erase files


allo
im new in linux
in my work i need to erase some importante files
some one can advise me about a programe that erase completely the files without chances of recover

However, shred is useless with most modern Linux installs. We almost all use journalized filesystems now...

You might try wipe - a quick run through the manpage should help bolster any paranoia you have.
Google will no doubt provide others to do likewise.

i tried wipe but it only run in shell

Can't see why not - quick script to ask for the filename should work o.k.
Linux being Linux, I'd be mighty surprised if some-one hasn't produced just what you're looking for.
