email client with gmail conversations

I don't know if any of the free software email clients have this functionality of organizing mails like conversations. Maybe thunderbird, evolution, but I don`t know how to do it.

Any of you with experience for this kind of stuff. I am in a lot of mailing lists and gmail help me a lot, but I want to use my personal email (my own domain) for this.

Thunderbird:
View -> Sort By -> Threaded
This is half the trick (for mailing list it works ok, but when your message is not in the Inbox you can have conversations with skipped levels). But
Tools -> Message Filters..
will allow you to copy Sent to Inbox.
